MONITORING OF ZAKAT FUND UTLIZATION

	Zakat Council is responsible for Policy Guidelines and General Superintendence, Control on matters, maintenance of Zakat Fund accounts, Preparation of the list of institutions for assistance from Azad Kashmir Zakat Fund
	Chairman Zakat Council monitors through Members Zakat Council
	Members perform regular checking of Deeni Madaris
	Chief Administrator Zakat & Ushr being financial commissioner monitors the allocated Budget through Central Audit and Account cell
	District Chairmen monitors and supervises allocated funds through District Audit cell
	Chairman of Constituency Zakat Committee oversees the disbursement and utilization of money in local zakat fund. Also compiles the accounts of the local zakat fund.
	Local Zakat Committee prepares the list of Mustahqeen Zakat and Disbursement of Zakat to Mustahqeen in their personal Accounts

	Department of Zakat & Ushr has deputed staff members in Major Hospitals by introducing permanent Desks titled as “Zakat Desk” to provide facilities to the deserving patients.
	These “Zakat Desks” are working in every CMH, AIMS, DHQs and THQs to co-ordinate with the administration of Health Institutions on the arrival of any deserving patient
	Duties of these desks are defined.
