Almost with the same purpose and object as like the District Zakat and Ushr committees, constituency committees one for each of the constituency in Azad Kashmir have been setup with appointment of a Non –Official as its Chairman. Assistant Commissioner of the Tehsil, Tehsil Mufti and four Non Official members who are also nominated by the Chief Administrator are members of the Constituency Zakat and Ushr Committee.

	The Constituency Committee subject to the such guidelines as may be given by the Zakat Council, or the District committee shall perform following functions in constituency:
	Oversee assessment of Ushr and Collection of Zakat, Ushr and Atiyyat and the disbursement and the utilization of the money in the Local Zakat Funds by the Local Committee in the Constituency.
	For the purposes mentioned in clause (a) of the Section 16 of the Zakat and Ushr Act, 1985 make plans for the Constituency, in such form and manner as may be prescribed.
	Compile Accounts of the Local Zakat Funds for the Constituency, in such form or manner as may be prescribed.
	Tender to the District Committee advice on any matter connected with the collection, disbursement or utilization of Zakat and Ushr.
