According to this Verse of Holy Quran, utilization of Zakat has been ordained to benefit only the following eight classes of people. (Al-Quran Surah Altoba 60)

FUKARA

These are the people who being handicapped or otherwise are not able lo earn livelihood for themselves and their dependants.

MASAKEEN

This class of people consist of those, who otherwise are not unable to earn for themselves and their dependants but they are not able to do so fully because of low earning.

AMALEEN

Those persons who are deputed on the task of collection of Zakat. Since these people are engaged whole-time on this job they can be paid remuneration for the task out of Zakat.

MOULIF- TA-AL-QALOOB

Moulif-Ta-Al-Qaloob as mentioned in the context of Zakat means persons who embrace Islam anew and they need financial assistance because of leaving their society and relations and entering into new life and start it afresh.
